Product Description Think thin. The ultra-chic DSC-T90 Cyber-shot digital camera is perfect for stashing in your pocket or a small purse. But the T90 doesn't just impress on the outside. Built into its compact body are powerful features that make taking great pictures a cinch. Not sure which mode to use at sunset or when shooting sporting events? The iAuto mode does the work for you. It automatically adjusts the settings for fantastic results no matter what you're shooting or where you are. There's also Face Detection mode for capturing subtle detail and natural skin tones in faces. And when still photos aren't enough, you can record HD video clips and play it back on the 3 touch screen LCD.

Poor Picture Quality February 20, 2010 N. Heinecke (St. Louis, MO) I usually dont write reviews but I find them helpful. I love Sony and this camera was a huge disappointment. We are returning it because of poor picture quality. We have DSC-H5 and love the pictures, but it is hard to carry around. We wanted a compact camera that would still take good pictures. Many of the pictures were blurry and often had a weird white light on them. We tried adjusting the settings but the pictures poor in good light and poor light. The worst were pictures at night or in a dim lite restaurant. Try something else...
Great photos, but bad construction February 7, 2010 PMY (NYC) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have owned two of these cameras. The photo quality is great and it has a sleek design but the touch-screen is so weak that it easily cracks. My second one just cracked so I felt compelled to write a review. In this most recent case, the camera was just in my front jeans pocket and cracked due to the pressure from walking around (I don't wear tight jeans).
I have other touch-screen devises (iphone, blackberry, etc.) and have never head a problem. The screen on this camera feels different though; it flexes when you touch it. Since most of the camera's controls are operated through the screen (as well as the viewfinder), when it's cracked the camera is basically worthless. Also, because you have to be so careful with it, you don't use it as much as you might other cameras.
I will not be buying this camera again; I'll get one that has a more solid construction.
Hope this is helpful.
Bad choice for any indoor photography January 22, 2010 Holl G. Bayonas (Greensboro, NC) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought the T90 after having the P-200 because of its sleak design and great reviews. We were trying to decide between the 290 and 90. The T90 had amazing video compared to the older sony that we had. Outdoor photos are very crisp and have great color. It is a small camera so it was very easy to take it anywhere, however, very few photos that we take indoors in medium light situations are clear. There is a lot of blurr (yes, I read the manual and tried every possible setting), which outweighs the convenience of this camera. In addition, it seemed like we were always charging the battery. The battery life is very poor and the indicator somewhat inaccurate. After having this camera for about 8 months and gravitating back to our old camera, we got the W290. I would not recommend the T90 if most of your photos will be indoors and especially if they are indoor candid photos of children. I would recommend if you are a camper and need a lightweight camera for you landscape shots, but don't take any movies on your trip, which seems to really suck out the battery power.
Great gift January 15, 2010 D. Houston (Louisville, KY USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this camera as a pre-Christmas gift for a friend. Over 3 weeks have gone by and he says he loves it and it takes great pictures. I have seen some of those pictures and they are indeed great quality. My friend has nothing but praise and no complaints for this camera. I therefore give 5 stars based on his input (he speaks only Spanish, does not shop Amazon, does not have an Amazon account, and, although he loves the camera, did not want to write a review). Were my friend able to write an English review, he would give 5 stars.
AWESOME! January 1, 2010 Elaine Bahns (Elaine) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was so sick of buying camera after camera and being unsatisfied. Short term I was trying to buy an inexpensive camera, but got what I paid for.
This camera is wonderful! I will get straight to the point in the future. Pictures turn out crisp and clear. You would swear I had a camera that is double the price.
